Would word's cause you to throw a punch at a individual,or some non physical action or gesture they make, out of fear,etc...

And even if you never have been in a physical confrontation, I would like to hear what you think about this, and if you would strike first or not
Thanks

There are a few people I would deck just to be doing it...yes.
Example: If I ran into my moms ex, he wouldn't even have to open his mouth and I would beat him within an inch of his life (the restraining order is on him for his own protection).
If someone started harping on some shit that's gone down in my life I'd either pick a bottle up and try to drown them out by drinking it, or I'd bust 'em in the face immediately.

I tend to have a temper...most times though I don't start hitting people until they ask for it (by throwing the first punch)... although there was one time someone just walked in after drinking and leaving me sit all day to stew in their house, I threw a number of kitchen utensils and a case of beer at him...only head butted him after he pinned my arms to my side (after I broke a jar of olives on his forehead and beat him with a bag of bread :emb: ).
I came into this world kicking and screaming while covered in someone elses blood
and I have no problem with going out the same way

if i was threatened by someone i would, or if i saw them hurting a woman or child or animal. the first punch can end a fight, but it sets the stage for something brutal, so you have to be prepared to suffer the same. im a young man, im strong and im fast and i will win. im not afraid of anyone but im not a bully either.

Violence is not the answer, it is the question. the answer is yes.

Yeah...well...he kinda deserved it... I may have only been 19, but I knew damn well he had a fake id for me (asked me to come over, then wasn't there all day).

Fighting is horrible, but sometimes necessary. The only time I would fight is to defend loved ones, the innocent, children, animals etc. like bat said.
Where women are concerned you have to be a bit careful, because if it's a domestic, there've been quite a few cases where the help hasn't gone down too well with the woman :O and in fact the woman has attacked the guy helping or the guy's girlfriend. I think you're supposed to ask if she wants help, sounds a bit sort of silly in the heat of the moment but it makes sense.

I hate violence.

I would not throw the first punch,if you do and it's in a public place with video, you are guilty no matter what,a defensive posture or defensive move is a different thing, but still that implies aggression from another towards you and if they made the move you would be justified.

They now have what is called a verbal assault law,and if there are witnesses you can be arrested if you even tell some obnoxious person or drunk to leave you alone,or you will kick his ass or imply some action you will take.

The mere touching,by pushing away from a aggressive person can get you locked up

When the situation arises that throwing a punch or other move might be your only/best option, the last thing that crosses your mind is the law.

Yes I used to work the doors a few years ago and words can indicate attack. As soon as the person went into one word mode you knew they would be punching any second especially if they are head pecking like a chicken at same time.

Example wot wot wot wot, yeah yeah yeah

Last night I was in a nightclub and a crazy fight broke out...

Bottles getting smashed, people getting hit with the poles that holds the rope barrier.

PoleRopeBarrier

Girls getting punched in the face, basically an all out brawl finished off by a shooting to end the night.

I left when the bottles started flying and i heard some girls say "they about to start shooting"

Police showed up with AR-15's as I was pulling out the back entrance to the club in my car.

I was just telling somebody today at the YMCA about how I don't get involved with that shit.

People that stand around to watch fights in nightclubs like that become statistics.

I only went for the girls, getting drunk with my boys is really not that fun.

The older I get the more stupid all that lifestyle seems to me.

I don't like violence and would never punch somebody unprovoked,
