This does not effect me personally but it is very sad all the same. :(

Lesley could always take over and keep the ninja dream alive! :ninja:

I think he should have taken on, or still take on apprentices. Ninja skills and training can still be useful and worthwhile I reckon. Just because the Ninja doesn't fit in the modern day doesn't mean it should be allowed to fade away.
Who's to say things will remain "modern"?

Keep the Ninja alive! That's what I say! :ninja:

Lesley is the Ninjas last hope! :O :chuckle:

I know! Hasn't The Last Ninja ever seen The Time Machine? I'm heart broken! :broken: All my romanticized visions of ninja's down the drain! Maybe if there were more ninja's in the world, we wouldn't be in the mess we're in!

So there goes another part of living ancient history. It's sad really... I think traditions should be cherished, not forgotten. Older the tradition, all the more important it is to keep it alive.

It's ironic really, that Ninja is very popular these days, more than ever... And that on itself goes agains what ninja stands for. And at the same time, when all those myths and stuff are so popular, the actual real things behind fiction are dying. Too bad that any 'outsiders' can't really do anything about it.

But shame on mr. Kawakami for not taking apprentice. It should be his job to keep this living history alive to see tomorrow.
The things you leave behind, you find in front of you.
