Tomorrow at 6.30pm I have to have an MRI and I am basically shitting myself.

I've had one about six months ago and it was so horrible I swore I would never go through it again

It's like being in a coffin with a surround sound of WW1 or WW11 going on around you

If any one slightly knows me , or slighlty likes me could you send me good vibes please for tomorrow because I'm scared

I just a big wooz ........don't want to go back in the coffin , which is what the MRI machine is

I made the mistake of opening my eyes the last time and the roof was about a cenimetre away from my nose .....it was a coffin (ok maybe over dramatic but that's how it felt)

I'm really scared and I normally tackle anything head on

I had to have a bone marrow biopsy a couple of years ago...I have never been so frightened in my life, but I got through it and so will you get through another MRI ....Chin up. :) x

oh , that is worse than an MRI , were you ok? was everything ok? I hope so :) That was worse what I have to do tomorrow , now I feel a bit stupid about being scared :emb:

Well, they found what they were looking for. Yes, I'm fine.

Any test is nerve racking dawn and if I had to go for an MRI i'm sure that I would be as worried as you are. :)
I think it's got a lot to do with not being in control and having to kind of give ourselves over to Drs , nurses and machines.

It's normal to be worried and frightened...you'll be fine. :) x
