Speaking as someone with a certain amount experience of age-gap relationships (my OH is 16 years older than me), I would say that if they're happy and no-one's being exploited, then good luck to 'em! I've always tended to get along better with people a bit older than myself, for some reason!

Many times old people do stupid stuff, and make bad decisions,their ego makes them think that someone who gives them attention wants them,when in actuality it's about the money,they can't see this.

They end up getting took for thousands of dollars by a smooth talker, male or female whichever.

Many seniors end up selling their homes and move into a overpriced assisted apartment complex,and the family never sees any money just bills coming in from a older parent who is living a second childhood,so in turn rage gets focused on whoever has taken a interest in their surviving parent as a so called love interest and incredible jealousy and legal mayhem ensues
