Do you sleep north to south,east to west or a combination of these compass point directions.

I have heard a few people say that the position we sleep in makes a bigger difference in how we feel,think,energy level and our health,I will try to dig up a good article of someones opinion on this and post a link,or if you have heard of this maybe you know a good link.

Is this something you have ever heard about or if you have do you think there's something to it?

Myself I sleep with my head to the south and feet to the north,no real reason for this just the way it's set up now,but I am open to change if some have some information about this

I have no idea to be honest with you. I think we tried to feng shui once because my wife wanted to but not sure if we still are. I have no compass sadly.

I did read something about this a while ago, Rick, but I can't recall the exact details.

I think it had something to do with the sun though. Possibly it was Hermes material? Something about head in one direction for so many hours a day...

I'll see if I can find it.

Scratch what I said about the sun, I think it actually had more to do with the magnetic poles of the Earth. For example, your head represents the positive pole of the body, so should not be aligned with the positive North pole where possible, as the two 'push' against each other?

Am just speculating again...damn my crappy memory! I think there is something about it in the Hermetica if you care to look for yourself while I am.

Actually Ab, my bed is where it is because it can't go anywhere else too I used to change my room around a lot as a kid, experimenting and things, and just for the change, but I found a position that works years ago and haven't moved my bed since. It just doesn't work anywhere else.

Most houses are actually built in line with compass directions, eg with the living room facing south (usually!).

I sleep with my head east and feet west, but was head west and feet east at my previous house. Depends on the design limitations of the bedroom I suppose.

My head faces kinda south-west, feet facing north-east...or close to that. No real reason for it other than that's how my hammock hangs and I would rather be able to see the door to the room than not.

Never heard of the compass direction and sleeping before. I heard if you sleep on your left side you're more liable to wake up in a good mood, something to do with the heart and all that.

East to West like the suns path...except sunrise is usually bedtime for me!
