So somebody shared this picture and story on a certain social networking site and I thought it was worth sharing.



Apparently this gator was shot in the eye and left for dead and this crazy guy took the gator home and nursed it to health. Sadly the gator died last year apparently.

It's a shame that the crocodile is used in a show (as in the video below), though it's still beautiful to see such a connection.

I agree. I was not aware of the show but oddly he does appear to be happy. I am always fascinated and enthralled and amazed by animal stories like the vegetarian lion and the gorillas that guard the small child who falls into the pit at the zoo and the Lions hugging people and stuff. It is awesome to me.
