Hi everyone, stumbled across this forum after posting on the DI Forum.
I'm hoping that you may be able to answer a question for me.......
On the DI Forum, I got a temporary ban after an online disagreement with a poster on there called Lightgiver.

It was basically about how he/she continually derails and hijacks numerous threads by posting hundreds of irrelevant youtube videos, basically spoiling the forum and ignoring the the forum rules on spamming etc....
Lightgiver has over 26,000 posts on the DI forum and appears to have an obsession about being the last poster on every single thread.
I questioned whether he was encouraged to boost the number of forum postings and suggested that he was a forum stooge. The moderator in question took umbrage to the insinuation and i received an infraction penalty followed by a 2 week ban.

Does anyone know what the deal is with the poster Lightgiver on the DI forum?

Thanks

Zerrubabel

Welcome to the forum, Zerrubabel. Lightgiver is a known troll in the DIF, even though I don't know what its real purpose is. Besides trolling, I mean.

Lightgiver is quite honestly the world's strangest person. He had done over 25,000 posts when I was on the DIF, and all he ever does is copy and paste stuff. You were quite right in everything that you said. Many of us have reported him, nothing has been done on this and other matters, that's why this forum exists. That's all there is to it really!

hi there

Lightgiver is a bit of nutter in my opinion.

I had a few run in's with him then came to the conclusion it was best to just ignore him.

It's a shame because there were some interesting topics and subjects but he just spammed the hell out of them.

I'm surprised he was allowed to do this ......he seemed to get away with a lot

Hello Zerrubabel

Well personally I liked lightgiver's latest antics as he pissed off the NANs something chronic when I was walking in that cesspool that is the false flag sub forum at DIF

But here's an example of lightgiver's posts

lightgiver wrote
Zerubbabel (Hebrew: זְרֻבָּבֶל, Greek: Ζοροβάβελ, Zorovavel; Latin: Zorobabel) was a governor of the Persian Province of Judah (Haggai 1:1) and the grandson of Jehoiachin, penultimate king of Judah. Zerubbabel led the first group of Jews, numbering 42,360, who returned from the Babylonian Captivity in the first year of Cyrus, King of Persia (Ezra)

Sorry ladies and gents but I've got another question......

How comes there are almost 50,000 registered users on the DI Forum that have never posted?

Is it possible they create these themselves to make the forum look busier than it actually is, in the same way Lightgiver boosts the total number of posts? :conf:

Hello, and welcome. A lot of forums with a focus on revenue practice what you're describing, Zerubabel. I don't know if they do that over at DIF, but it wouldn't surprise me.

Hello Zerrubabel. :)

I dunno about that 50k figure. Some of them will be unused socks, waiting in the wings. Does it include the members who have been made 'inactive'? If so, it might explain why they prefer to input that status often, when it should actually read, 'banned'.

Hi newcomer.
The one thing to keep in mind when using forums is that not everybody is who you think they are, even if they have a photo , don't be fooled.
Some people expose themselves and others can get exposed.

Keep your wits about you and don't tell them anything you don't want them to know.

Sometimes they play games, sometimes you have to play along just to see what becomes.
