Correct, The song is about Napoli/Naples...although the actual city is a crime ridden hell hole.

And yes you are right, when I was there in the summer of 57, I had my purse stolen by a mafioso, and i was booked to catch a ferry over to greece, and all my money was in that purse.

Lucky for me I was able to find a nice gentleman who was a modelling agent, I did him a few favours and he looked after me.

He took me and the mother of that filthy Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee, over to Greece so she could be in Miss Greece 1957.

Ah yes, 57 was a great year for a young miss mcgree, i discovered many new things that year.
