To offer some Yang to the Yin...

Who's your team and why?

I'll start us off....I got 2 teams! Originally a purple, United fan born to a City supporter, he took us to which ever team was at home in Manchester on a Saturday because ultimately he's a football fan. Anyway, despite (or because of) being the eldest son City never really did it for me, I saw David Pleat skip across Maine Rd. and felt sorry for my dad, not me. Then I knew.

Nowadays I'm F.C.United of Manchester, obviously.
(Google em if you don't know why it's obvious)

I went through a phase of going to Anfield with my mate & her dad. It was in the days that jimmy Case, Phil neal, Emlyn Hughes etc played.

Loved the atmosphere at the live matches, but don't get round to it these days, and don't watch it on TV unless it's the world cup.

Despite being Utd as a kid I played right back and used to watch Phil Neal more than any other R. back for inspiration.

You scouse then?

Don't worry, I'm not gonna go all stretford ender on you, my first love was scouse.

My nanna lived in Preston and I used to go there for my holidays.

She lived just off Blackpool Rd

Used to take Ribble busses to the centre and go to St George's shopping centre to by toys at Zodiac toy shop.

Then we used to feed the ducks along the canal and watch telly with lemonade and ice cream.

It's a small world. I live about a mile away from Blackpool Rd, heading towards Longridge. You can get to the canal off Haslam Park.

You wouldn't ever want to watch Preston North End play. I think that's where Beckham started his career though.

Steady!

Kinda true.

United loaned him out to Preston.
