Yes, I'm good thanks.

Some pain's to be expected, but it's still better than the sensation of carrying that festering bag of rocks under my ribs.

They pump gas into you to give them room to work, but I'd have expected that to have dispersed now - I'm going to have to get in the gym soon & sort myself out.

I'm signed off for a fortnight, Lesley. I'll be glad to get moving about again, but despite my employers being really good, I still hate the prospect of returning to sit at a desk all day. (There's just no pleasing some people, eh! ).

It's probably some tissue swelling as well as the air. If it makes you feel any better, it took about 4 weeks for my swelling to go down completely last year. That might not make you feel better, 4 weeks is quite a long time - sorry. You've had keyhole, so it will probably be less. It's not fat though, so it's all good!

I don't think anyone really enjoys sitting at a desk all day. You'll be on the move before you know it.

At least I do flexi-time, so I can accrue hours & take an extra day off when I want to.

I've forgotten how to be polite & sensible all day though. How stressful & tedious. And only having a smoke every few hours. And racing about from 6am till 9pm to get things done! And no window view - OMG I'm having an anxiety attack!!!

Hey ho - back to reality!

Only being able to smoke every few hours at work sucks. Bloody non-smokers bleating on about second hand smoke, they should pull up their big kid panties and deal with it.
