Hey a little secret to my forum friends.

You can be in constant control of a flea issue in your house by doing this and there will be no toxic bug spray or other harsh chemicals

1. Get a shiny pie pan you know the silver colored one
2.Put a mixture of water and dish soap in it
3. Place it in a dark flea infested room with a desk light type light shining down on it, not extremely close but somewhat.
4.Your flea's will jump in their to drink and will drown from the dish soap and water mix
5 Don't make the water and soap mixture real thick or bubbly/
You will be amazed and shocked at how many you catch, and then you can place your pie pan in various areas for flea control.
It works and you will be shocked

Thanks. Will have to do this at night in the room my dog sleeps in. I've tried getting rid of the bastards the traditional way (rubbing her down with chemicals I don't wanna use, vacuuming, washing everything, etc...) and they just wont go away. Tried an alternative method (citrus being rubbed on her, vacuuming, washing everything, etc...) and that didn't work either. This is worth a try too!

Will keep that in mind Rick... given that my dog is a bottomless pit and eats anything, except roman noodles lol... drinks just about anything too, including wine and whiskey. Will make sure it's out of her reach and out of the cats reach (although I suspect that foot wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole as he's a picky eater/drinker).

Do they drown in the dishwater or do the chemicals kill them? Only I've known fleas survive in water for a considerable time.
They're indomitable bastards.... total fucking pest. I just use Frontline - 1 pipette lasts each of our dogs for about a year. Not had any this year for the first time in ages...
