If you could choose one thing at any moment in your life to be what would it be and why?

Mine would have to be wind (not farts :spank: but the soft breeze to gale force, I feel all yet can't be owned)

Edit; btw it's a forever change

Very zen.

I'd be tempted to go for a mountain or a really old & gnarly tree. It would offer a different 'time' experience from what we have as squishy humans.

Or

Bjork's piano. Then she could run her fingers all over me when the mood takes her. <sigh> :emb: :umm:

Are we choosing to have this one thing, or to be it?

If we're being it, I'm a unicorn.

If we're possessing it, I don't know what I want.

My first thought on seeing this thread was that if I could choose to be one thing, it would be healthy! I've had poor health for 20+ years, and I can honestly say that the novelty has long since worn off.

If I had to choose to be an object/other creature though, I guess it would have to be a cat - a well-loved cat, looked after by nice humans, anyway! :D

I would choose pain free health also.

i might be able to muster the energy to be david icke whenever he does his wembley thing. where i'd cut the talk down to 5 minutes. the summary being:

"yeah, one night after a few tennents i passed out. i was still conscious but so fucked that i had an out of body experience. in that moment of clarity i realised that it all boils down to people will believe anything if a celeb tells em its true. then i realised that all the signs, the medium, the ayahuasca, the ridicule, were pointing me in one direction.
twas then i decided to make myself a jolly good living for my body spacesuit by selling my soul to the muse of 'talking bollox vaguely backed up by an incredibly limited grasp of relevant concepts.' thanks for coming. for those who feel the tide of consciousness rising within as a result of being here today, there's a tip jar by the exit door. your contributions will be gratefully imbibed."

Not sure that I understand the question because the answers people have given do not match what I thought.

An object from my life? I would like to be a hot wheels car or my son's Finn the human toy that he loves from adventureland. Or my daughters favourite toy when she gets one. Or maybe my wife's lipstick.
