I want to be in a specific area, close to my daughter, and hopefully a nice place.

Everytime I've found a place, it's gone already. On monday I'm going to veiw a nice little place, right, location, right price.

But 10 other people are going to view it too...

That's rough, Jhado. Are you in a position to buy straight away if you like it? Have you done any research into whether those properties you missed out on sold for the full asking price?

I'm looking to rent this time, I've been paying mortgages for the last 30yrs, and where has that got me?

Not to go all hippie-new-age on you, but try looking at it on a positive note...maybe none of the places have been the "right" one and fate is trying to steer you towards the right one, that'll be perfect. I ain't got nothing else besides try to be positive about it. I hope that perfect place just falls in your lap soon!

I feel ya. Right now I am sort of stuck where I am as far as where I live. Looking forward and dreaming of the day I can move to a place of my own again. I hope you get some luck and find the perfect place.
