Pretty sure we haven't met before mate. I'd remember shit like that.
The dif? Have they renamed the dole again? Fuck! Bastards! They're obviously trying to fool those of us with good memories to walk straight past when we are looking for the dhs office. You'll fit right in here mate. The sz loves a good conspiracy like that.

I haven't spent time, and had fun with friends for about two years actually. Even then my friends were really extended family.
I went to Jane's meet up early in the year, but since then, all my interactions have been online, and on the phone.
Is this how it's going to be for people in the near future?

What about you's...how often do you get together with mates?

Look on the bright side, Irre. At least with on-line friendships, you're not always in my kitchen borrowing cups of sugar & eating my biscuits! :D

I used to be very social. Had lots of what i called froends. About 8 years ago a process started where i became increasingpy aware that a lot of these friendships werent real. Now i have a small core of friendships that have stood the years. Don't see them nearly as much as i'd like. Then i have the people around that i interact with daily. Some of whom become friendly, very few go on to last as friendships. Although there is a new face or two :)
Then there's the online world. Online is very abstracted. Its not about material, more spiritual, intellectual and emotional here. And yes, i find that very valuable and value the friendships in the online world. Like jhads said, twould be nice to take the sz into the material world too. That's starting to happen. Things are happening. This place aint even a year young yet :)

Well if there are sites like that in existence, those people aren't worth interacting with anyhow.

Are you meaning that this actually happened to you?

If it did, consensus doesn't carry any weight in that setting. It's clearly inhabited by idiotic arseholes - so who cares what they think!
