I read a 'normal' forum the other day for a bit, can't remember why I clicked on it or where it was, and I couldn't help noticing the absolutely vast chasm between my views and perspective and those expressed there. I don't really engage with 'normal' members of the public all that much because I generally find it pointless, and if I do I don't discuss anything serious because it turns out to be even more pointless. But I honestly didn't think my views were particularly radical, I don't consider myself to be a controversial person or extreme or anything. You know, they were discussing the prank phone call thing, and one or two people sort of said "it's a bloody stupid story, shouldn't be in the news", etc. But most people really came across as royalists and sympathetic with the fact that A.N.Other Middleton was a bit ill. I read other stuff and, as I say, there was just this massive chasm between my perspective and theirs. I really didn't think I was that far out. It's totally obvious to me that economically we're completely screwed, and I can't understand how people could fail to see this. But there didn't seem to be any awareness of this whatsoever.

I just wondered if anyone had experienced this recently. I just remembered what it was like when I had a job and I had to listen to people talking unmitigated tosh all day.

yea, been on a normal forum lately...i avoid the main topics n just find what i am looking for as fast as i can and hightail it outta there b4 i find myself drug into a senseless debate with people still inside the box

I don't think I've ever been on a "normal" forum I might join some gaming forums actually next week when I get my lappy.

I think forums such as this and Icke, have seriously lowered my inhibitions...the shit I talk about, I just couldn't on most other forums

I post on a political forum that you might describe as "normal" but I wouldn't say that their POV were that radically different from many expressed here. So maybe they aren't that normal after all.
