12/12/12 (today) is exactly 6 years, 6 months and 6 days from the 6th June 2006! (6/6/6) :O
So, if it didn't happen then...it aint gonna happen today.....just 9 more days to go :shtf: then we can get on with our lives and ignore whatever new dates the 'doomsters' will come up with! :chuckle:

I wonder if anyone will make a post at 12:12:12 secs :O :chuckle: Although we'd never know about the seconds becaue they don't show on posts.

I said to my bro the other day, the only time I'll start worrying, is if we find ourselves floating down the street on a paving slab on a river of lava, with a blood red sky above :chuckle: Until that potential time comes :O I'll just continue to go about my business.

Its a software addition (plug in) installed by Frog that overrides the whole site...its supposed to insert 'proper' punctuation and so on.

I find it annoying at times too if its any consolation. :chuckle:

I guess it assumes that numbers with a slash next to em are an attempt to write a division formula or somethin.

The same plug in adds hyphens and so on to words on the site, eg when you write words like touche it adds that thing above the e

You wont see it in the reply box, it applies the changes only when posted. Adding code tags around things seems to keep it at bay.

I have several lottery tickets, including last nights MegaMillions. I haven't checked to see if I won yet because I can't stand the disappointment! :loco: I would rather pretend that I did win but just don't know it yet. :hypo:

This is the last year for a long time that we will have a triple date. So enjoy it while you can. :bounce:

Would you like me to go check the numbers for you Nosey...or are you gonna get to it so you can share with the forum if you win millions? :chuckle:

Plan on enjoying it, as much as I can :D Just gotta figure out how many shots I am doing in celebration *thinks, 6+6+6=18, so 18+18=36... 12+12=24+12=36... 36+36=72 shots* :umm:

Morning
Nope. Not going to look. I 'll know it in my gut if I have won or not.

I also know that I am going to win one day, because my dream told me so. So people should be nice to me, just in case.

We if you've won, don't forget I'm your best friend, NG!

Actually, I've got last week's tickets that I've not checked either. I like to check them when I'm in a humour to project good naturedness out, so that that's what I can attract back. (It works for me with scratch cards).

I was in the queue behind a woman the other day, she bought £30 worth of scratch cards with her pack of ciggies and proceeded to go off to one side to scratch them all before leaving the store..

Well take heed - I was behind a little old chap in a queue at the cig counter in Asda when he asked her to check his lottery ticket. She said he'd won nowt, and placed it carefully on the top of the bin. He asked for some baccy, then seemed to gather his courage for a confrontation, and demanded the ticket back, saying he knew he'd won £10.

She insisted 'computer can't be wrong' (and I don't believe it actually was) yet when at his insistence, she checked it again, this time with someone else peering over her shoulder, hey presto, it had won £10. Fancy that!

That's insane. :conf: If you are going to spend 30 pounds you should make it last a little longer than that. ffs

@ gilly - yep, I have suspected for quite some time that that kind of scam regularly goes on.

Moral of the story....check your own lottery tickets ... ;)

@ nosey...scratch cards are a serious addiction for some people unfortunately. they are one of the worst kinds of 'instant gambling imo.
