iirc (as the story goes) the tree started from alexanders father King Philip so it wasnt from alexanders lineage but his fathers i think, and ATG had a sibling or siblings....but i aint going to go look it up again, dont care enough to.

So he's suggesting if Bush is somehow related to one of ATG's siblings that somehow means something? Wow.
Given the timescale, there's probably thousands of ordinary people who have some notable ancient figure
somewhere in their family tree if you looked hard enough. It's a really weird line of thinking.
Yer part of what i was getting at is that people like Icke take some known truths (yes Philip was a KIng like liz II is now, ATG had some ideas of conquering nations, could be said that Bush family are part of something somewhat similar in modern times) and perhaps join all these dots because it makes for a great story. Take some known things, and link them together somehow, add a point of difference to other 'researchers' (lizard bloodlnes in this case) and there you have a cool story that can draw people in.
of course one of the reason to link all these people genetically in Ickes case is that it fits in with his reptillian bloodline writings of course. I think one area where a lot of disinfo comes into it is when Icke claims 'these people' have behaved and will always behave in a certain way because of their genetic predispositon, ie they are and will always be 'different' to all members of the general population...whereas i (to put it simply) think that is crap.
I think the 'cool story' part here is key. Possibly with a 'bro' on the end directed at Mr Icke.
I think a big problem with Icke's thinking here is this assumption it's somehow about people who behave a certain way due to 'bloodline'. It's really well established ordinary human beings are capable of the very best and very worst depending on what happens to them, how they're brought up etc. If you'd been raised as George Bush, would you really expect to be the person you are now?

Yes the phrase is thrown around, but i think Bush elaborated at least a little in that speech, about what their aims are. And i agree that different people or groups have different visions, but in saying that, i do believe the Bush family are a part of one of the more poweful groups.
Yes I think Bush certainly was setting down his aims - or at least the publicly acceptable version. I think his aims were/are different to other people in power (though they may have points of convergence). I think people like Icke have a very crude way of thinking where they seem to think they're living in the movies they're so fond of citing - evil dystopian bad guys vs the downtrodden freedom fighters. They don't seem to be able to accept that powerful people are not a monolithic group and fall out with and disagree with each other. Just their bitch fights have bigger consequences for the rest of us.
I agree 100% the Bush family are a powerful group. If you had all that money and power, why would you not try to keep hold of it and use it? Apart from if someone decides to renounce wealth and live in a hippy commune or something as an individual decision, these people are going to carry on making sure they're at the top. And their kids will get all the best opportunities and have only a vague idea of how normal people live from birth.
I do think that King Philip and Alexander back in the day had some similar aims from what has been recorded, there was some overlap in ideas, though in saying that, there is no great revelation to me, because people can copy good (for them) ideas from each other or from writings and history for that matter, or even come up with the same ideas all on their own because it suits them, it sure doesnt mean the people are linked.
It all started with antipathy towards Persia who invaded them. On top of the usual wanting to be the biggest, hardest guy on the block. But it's pretty understandable that kicking Persian ass seemed like a pretty awesome endeavour to carry out. It's just Alexander didn't know when to stop. But if you're a homicidal alcoholic with delusions of godhood who also happens to be one of the greatest generals who ever lived, why would you?
Well i think they used to be under the earth lizards but we know he changes as he goes....though Im not sure about him wanting that, does a mechanic want a world without cars?

That is a great observation

Icke needs his lizards. and what he really offers is the chance for people to feel smug by imagining they know some huge secret the sheeple are too dumb to realise - he gives a scary story about lizard men from outer space and then soothes with some proclamation it's all going to be ok in the end because of some positive vibrations or whatever. He's not going to
do anything or try to
change anything. The bad guys must always be just on the brink of winning, but with the good guys destined to win in the end. Essentially, he needs the status quo so that he can carry on giving inspirational talks and, after deciding Saturn means something, next move onto Jupiter being built by Satanic pan dimensional gnomes to broadcast Smooth FM or something. The more outlandish it gets, the more divorced from reality - but that doesn't matter. It's entertainment for the disenfranchised and alienated.
What he detracts from is the fact that 'the elite' are not smarter than us or intrinsically different to us - they're the consequence of letting people have that power. It's the system that supports them that is the problem - they're just individuals acting like many people would if they'd been brought up like they have.
