It's all interrelated I reckon, you can't have time without the universe, you can't have the universe without time...maybe...dunno...

As was said earlier Hex, you can't consider time in isolation from space.

I've got a little tale.
I was once coming back from Spain to Britain on a plane (first and only time I've flown, aint doing it again )
Had to get a bus, then a train to the airport.
The bus arrived in Malaga late and when me and a friend got off my friend checked her watch. It said that the train was due to leave in two minutes. The train station was about half a mile away. I was like, bugger we'll never make it. My friend was like, chill out, it'll be fine. We walked to the train station calmly and not particularly rushing. Got to the station and the train pulled up to the platform. My friend checked her watch against the platform clock and they were showing the same time....
So it seems we had covered the ground, got tickets and made it down onto the platform in two minutes.....Go figure

Yea, this stuff is related and probably relevant too... I just want to keep my feet on the ground about this talk here. I don't know a damn thing about that universe stuff, it greatly overwhelms my perception and understanding, so I try to keep my talk on the things I really can grasp more or less.

Dubs, what you're describing sounds exactly like the story about indians 'making time' when they're in hurry. I've had this happen too some times, feels like you could do anything in just few minutes if you just feel that there's nothing to hurry about. It really seems to work.
