:D Microdermabrasion's like sandpapering, but without the paper! You get fine grit blasted at your skin to remove dead skin cells and reveal the fresh new skin underneath. Not that I've had any of these things done myself, but I know women who have, and while I appreciate that they just want to make an effort to look their best, the phrase, 'a fool & their money are soon parted', springs to mind.

Yep, good point, BUT, now that you've invested in that contraption, you'll be coining it in - £250 per half hour session it says, for inflicting pain on people!

On the topic of microdermathingy I know people with acne scars who have a real confidence issue that could be resolved. Generally I am against surgery but if it makes somebody happy then who am I to judge?
