You did not ask my view you asked me which would be safer more less or same.
I did ask several times, let me ask you again:
Would we be ‘safer’ if the police had:
a) more guns than they do now;
b) less guns than they do now;
c) or the same number of guns as they do now?
You then suggest more citizens with guns is safer
Can't read or answer direct questions:

Obviously offensive weapons don't make us 'safer', whether you're talking about guns, knives or nuclear weapons. This is self-evident. However, as we know for a fact that all of these things exist, and will continue to exist indefinitely, there's no sense in hankering for a world that will never, and can never, exist.
At no point did I suggest police should have guns and citizens shouldn't but it appears that is how I am painted.
I'm not painting you any way. I can answer direct questions and give my views, can you give yours?
Would society be ‘safer’ if there were:
a) more guns than at present;
b) less guns than at present;
c) or the same number of guns as there are currently?
Would we be ‘safer’ if the police had:
a) more guns than they do now;
b) less guns than they do now;
c) or the same number of guns as they do now?
I can quite easily give you my answers to both questions, indeed, I already have!
If you ask my views I already gave plenty of them and yet you still want to make out that I am avoiding your question because you want a black and white answer to a grey question.
It's not a grey question. There are three possible answers, and three possible answers only, yet you are unable to give any of them. That's why I said you were ducking the question, which you clearly are.
