I have seen some your posts on DIF and you handle yourself really well, I bet you really are your own person.

OK may I ask, why would someone that likes you feel the need to act controlling and bossy, wouldn't that drive the other person away?

People are different though, Rick. Some people like it. One of my husband's sisters bosses her husband about constantly, & I reckon he must like it, 'cause he doesn't object & he's not the shy, retiring type.

My husband tries to do it with me quite often, but I tell him to get stuffed. :D

sounds as if she is insecure tbh and overcompensating - doesnt sound as if you like her much either so she may be picking up on that too.

Tbh it sounds like the defences are up and the siege to destroy them is already underway.
Best to try to negotiate a peace and both of you move on imo.
