Haggis is yummy! :)

I've had wild boar, camel (I think), ostrich, venison, rabbit - the usual. I like it all. I wouldn't dream of eating brain, tripe or elder.

Has anybody had faggots? They're delicious if you find proper butcher-made ones.

They're a kind of giant meatball really, I suppose, but more hearty & flavoursome. It's a nice savoury sauce - not a bit like testicle sause in taste or consistency, I hear. Kind of like a cross between bbq sauce & gravy (not that shit you damn yankies call gravy either - proper MEAT sauce).

I expect your gravy's luverly, Stars, but I was meaning how over there you, quite inaccurately, refer to white sauce as gravy! It's madness you know.

I don't think I've eaten anything too weird(aside from fast food which is probably made of people).

Ox tail
Deer
Turtle
Frog's legs
Snails
Octopus
Eel
Elk
Rabbit
Duck
Quail

I don't generally eat organs but I do love Giblet gravy and that has bits of liver in it.

I've never had a McFlurry, the images you never actually mentioned give me images of the worst McFlurry ever invented.

Go you!

i call for a forum meetup... you, bats and myself shall cook up some down home goodness and show them what REAL fucking food is

then, when they are passed out drooling on themselves on the floor we can write stuff across their foreheads so they never forget they are :ownd: (or better yet, just toss them in the middle of a texas style brawl and take bets on who lasts the longest)

I'm pretty tame in most of what I've ever eaten.

Bison. [Burgers, steaks & jerky]
Deer/venison chili & jerky.

The list of jerkies I've had would be:
[Besides the two listed above]

Elk, alligator, turkey, ostrich, emu and I know there was another one or two, can't remember....

The last meat I knowingly ate was a bite of a mac chicken sandwich about 20 years ago - due to inordinate amounts of jack daniels and a £100 bet - I was ill for weeks afterwards. Other then that I have unknowingly eaten items with beef or pork gelatine in them - why the feck would you put cow in chocolate mousse? always gutting to eat something after a quick glance of the ingredient list and then discovering on proper perusal that it contains essence of otter or reindeer feet. Stopped knowingly eating meat and fish at 4 years old though am positive my mother lied to me about what was and was not meat whilst she could get away with it.

There's this craaaaazy awesome triple/septuple? lol fucking chocolate gateau frozen cake from ASDA that is probably one of THE best things I've ever eaten and it's got fucking pork gelatin in it. WHY??

This cake is just illegally good, to me anyway. And I'd love for my wife to be able to have some but she's a vegetarian. It's a total injustice! Why make such an awesome cake and then fuck it all up with pork gelatin?? Now, I'm a meat eater so it doesn't matter but this is the only cake they do it to. All the other cakes priced below this one [this cake costs £5 which to me is cheap but my wife thinks it's a bit much for an ASDA cake, whatever that means] are veggie-safe but then they go and blow their load with this magnificent creation only to totally alienate a large section of society. Fuck, ASDA, what the fuck???

P.S. Nice to see ya Thor!! ;)

aww phem - thankyou for the chuckle - first time I have cracked a smile in a week :rose:

I have no idea why manufacturers would decide to add animal to an otherwise perfectly delicious cake or for that matter the humble wagon wheel.

i remember discovering to my horror that many foods were coloured with cochineal - which was the end of my relationship with a certain mr kipling and his ever so moreish mini battenburgs.

and dont get me started on the perils of choosing a cheese!!!
