Ive been around hunters all my life. I know a guy (he's very old now) he would shoot parrots and take them home, eat them. And he didnt care what it was, anything from a Galah to a parakeet, endangered or not, it was lunch. Rosellas, cockatiels, budgies, whatever, you name it. If he saw it he would drop it with his shotgun. Lots of different parrots around these parts. And any kind of pigeon also.

although i have eaten gumbo (bats will know what i mean...i have no idea what was in it, but no matter what i tried to cover it with, it didn't get any better...there were chunks in there i dont wanna know what they were, meat or something else, no idea)

unknowingly... i have no idea, i typically dont ask what it is cuz if i do, i'd end up offending someone when i tossed my cookies on the plate in front of me (or worst case scenario, broke out in tears while screaming obscenities at the people around me lol).
