The tread title pretty much sums up what my question is


So if you have a one God opinion is he/she it most high among other spiritual beings

And if multiple gods is one the main boss?

I think that's what the word "God" is intended to mean these days, like a higher power or highest power maybe. What do you reckon Rick?

I can't speak for multiple gods.

The historical/anthropoligcal reality is something quite different. For that I suggest the book The Golden Bough. Wittgenstein, the greatest philosopher of the modern age, according to a lot of scholarly peeps, referred to it often. And appernelty Wittgenstein was a God.

But more on him later. Or rather Him later.

As for the OP question: monotheists don't believe in any other gods but their God.

Or you could ask Conan the Barabarian and he would tell you KROM!

Are you studying Wittgenstein's work on language or just name dropping?

Why do you think the Golden Bough is better than say Anacalypsis or Levi Strauss's work on Mythology?

I like the one that lets you walk around in the clouds with your friends and family when we die.
