I believe it. I know we all heard stories about possessed dolls or jewelry. Spirits stick near what they like. I have this rocking chair of mine that i know i will haunt when i die, if i still have it.
There's also the belief that objects store memories...geo something.

but, it was something like this
crowley thought daemons and shit were subconcious awakenings in the brain. summoning demons was like starting gears turning/opening door. i guess like how method actors immerse in roles to become the person.
anyway later he thought it was seperate entities or something.
so what if you give your haunted underwear to some body who already suseptible to ghostery, they might get haunted. what if you give it to space aliens or eskimos or something? will pazuzu still pop out? you know, if its totally different culture.. maybe still believe in ghosts or demons but not in the same way as a person watching cbn and so pazuzu stays away but ufo ghost or great polar bear ghost is there. (im sorry eskimos)
what im saying is maybe you kind of haunt yourself dependent on your beliefs and what gears are active.
