All my best nerd speak can't convince this idiot to save the extra money he earned while on the job he traveled to and met this woman, and not go off and spend it on foolish instant gratification, and self glorification.

If this woman actually is really in love with this fool and not just out to take his money, my faith in human nature will be fortified for the moment.

You seem to do a fair bit of fretting and predicting the worst re other people's relationships, if you don't mind my saying so, Rick.

People need to be allowed to follow their hearts / instincts / genitals in such matters.
