I'm curious

What are all your fave holiday destinations and why?
eg weather, good for families, particular stuff to see and do etc?

im not sure i really got a favorite place.. anywhere really for me.. adventures. thats my fav. i try to make every day a holiday.

My favourite's Britain. Alright, you can't rely on there being no rain, but it's worth it for the scenery imo. Cornwall, Devon. Sommerset, Yorkshire Dales, Lake District, Peak District, Welsh coast, bonnie Scotland. Lush greenery, rolling countryside and great beaches. You can't beat it!

Feel really close to nature...especially sat on a quiet rocky beach...appreciating how wonderful the world is...never had this feeling anywhere else.

You need a car to get around
Although I love to visit...I would not want to live there...boredom would settle in very quickly
Getting there is a killer...not for the faint hearted.

Funny you should say that pheony, I have been to Australia often but never felt that I could live there.

Venice is awesome too if you go about it right, the train gets from rome to venice in 3hours and 20 minutes or so.

The countryside can be great but thats a job for a car and a holiday villa I'd say. Don;t bother driving the car to rome though, lol

Bologna is very nice and is a very short flight.

Forli is lovely..a poor mans Tuscany(leading into it).....also near there, I can't remember where..there are two really gothic looking buildings on high rocks where the Borgias are supposed to have lived. I didn't take photos of them which is a shame ..and can't find pics on the internet because I can't remember exactly where they where. Amazing buildings though.
