Who gives a fuck how many people read what you post on internet forums? It's not like the Daily Mail are suddenly going to offer to pay you to write a column or something, however much posters on the DIF may try to emulate Daily Mail columnists.

I don't get all this hand-wringing stuff. I don't care if there's mods here or not. It's not like they throw their weight around. Though I do think a permanent 'moderation actions' thread explaining what's been done and why would be a happy compromise between mods/no mods and people could argue the toss in one place if they don't like what's been done. People spend too much time agonising about stuff that doesn't really matter.

On impulse, I created a sock on the DIF but haven't made one post with it. Endless hours arguing fruitlessly with Nutzis again - that's what would happen. Every time I glance at the place I see so much bullshit it makes my head spin.

In terms of this place, I say people should stop worrying about it and having endless dramas and flouncing attacks. If people fall out, they fall out. Get over it.
