Have purchased some blue hair dye & curlers, but have never been this elderly before and am not really sure how one is supposed to behave. If you can remember that far back, Feather, perhaps you could give me some tips.

In the meantime, I'll try to perfect some of the customary birthday manoeuvres, as below ...





But not till the weekend when I don't need to be up early and sharp-witted (shut it!) for work.

I'm very lucky indeed to have got pink roses - my favourite - cake, cuteness & rudeness, Rob De Niro, and a tramp in a bath as well as the stuffed seagull that I wished for at Xmas & didn't get.

Your generosity is overwhelming, and I'm blowing you each a kiss, whether you want one or not.
