Over time my views have not really changed that drastically but the way I view things has changed somewhat. I guess that means my views have changed a little. I am talking conspiracy. Lately I have noticed myself being much more cynical about conspiracies. I think it is because I see a flood of conspiracy theories constantly and in many cases I see little evidence.
I used to be the kind of person who would see a big event in the news and try and figure out the angle that the evil hidden forces were taking when they constructed it. Now i view news stories and wonder what conspiracy will be made up around it. Of course maybe that means that the evil "they" have gotten to me. Maybe I work for them or something. Maybe I am mind controlled working for the CIA or something. Was my mother actually Jewish making me Jewish and therefore a part of the evil plan?
Of course that is not the case. I am just a person and I have to decide for myself what to make of the information I am presented, I have learned at college when I studied Media and at home on my internet travels that the media works a certain way and so I take that information with a pinch of salt. I wonder what they are not reporting and why. Of course I know it often boils down to money revenue from advertising. If you say this product is unsafe or something then they are unlikely to pay you for advertising.
Anyway when the Sandy Hook shootings happened I saw all those questions being asked. I saw how everything was "proof" of this conspiracy that I was simply not buying. So I saw the flip side essentially. So it hit me that you really could just sit there and make one up. I mean sure that is obvious but I wondered about doing it for real but that experiment would require more discipline than I have right now.
I have moved in Conspiracy theory circles for a while and remember one topic close to my heart which was JFK`s assassination. I went to davidicke.com and discovered all these crazy out there theories that I saw as simply giving conspiracy theorists a bad name. Jackie did it or the driver did it theories were easy to disprove but some people would cling to them like their life depended on it.
I decided to see what good old Alex Jones was saying so I popped over to infowars and found a conspiracy pop out at me. If you cast your minds back to the Virginia tech shootings you might recall the image that went around of an Asian guy in army dress of some sort. Alex and others claimed it was Cho the shooter who was of course actually an agent for the Illuminati or something. Well at the time I said to myself it must be him. Looking back I am not so sure and would even suggest it is most likely not him.
So I was on infowars and saw this
Clearly Alex Jones is in fact a soldier in the picture on his very own website. Of course people claim Alex is this or that but I don`t think anybody has so far noticed this. So I got the scoop and shared it here. Now I sit back and wait.
So even though I believe in some conspiracy theories I think it is important not to get bogged down by bull shit. We need to stick to facts and avoid the speculative stuff. I mean you can really make yourself look paranoid quite easily.
So this is my new fun game. I shall not put any effort in to it though because I am not trying to make money.
