Does this response to a job application seem slightly over personal in your opinion?

Firstly the fact the opening was Dear MR Mike Guevara,Then closed the email with her full name without a Mrs, or Miss or anything with landline # and personal email.

Now the reason this struck me as weird might be that I;m completely desensitized to rejection letters for menial poorly paid jobs, this one I applied to was minimum wage, so fuck I'm dreading what she thinks might be a "suitable position" for me, probably against the wall after week, do I mean that sexually or in some ritualistic hierarchichal execution manner, we'll never know, because being obscure is uber cool

It doesn't strike me as particularly personal, but it seems unusually positive. What I mean by that is the language used in these letters is normally non-committal...for eg, you'd expect it to say they'd be in touch if not when, a more suitable position comes up in the future. And you'd expect the looking forward to working with you bit to include, 'The possibility of'.

You might have pulled. Or she might not be very experienced at composing letters.

Best just clarify this right off.

Depending on the level of security, or complete lack of it, on some sites, your email address may be accessible to those with nefarious intent. You may open an email from one of those sites in your primary email account which has a keylogger attached and without you being the slightest aware, you could be sending out you logins for everything, job sites (including your NI number, full personal details etc), your online bank account, etc, etc.

If the same email addy is used and trackable across several sites, particularly social media and forums, a profile of you can be built up which may leave you wide open to identity theft.

None of this is paranoia or woo-woo btw it's a huge industry.

Look at what can be done in a short period of time with random subjects off the street.

Remember me not posting my kids wedding pics because of image and facial recognition software now being commonplace?

You're looking for a rude punch-line, but there is none. That surprised you, didn't it!!!

If someone stole my identity I'd feel compelled to send them a commiserations card.

On a serious note though.
The identity theft thing is less to do with ripping of what, (little), funds you may have at present and more a device for obtaining cards, loans and purchases which you get lumbered with and have to try to prove wasn't you who accrued them.

Friends and relations can also be approached for crisis loans and such.
Oh and the first action would probably be to change the password on your email account, locking you out.
