I had a really bad one recently.

I was minding my own business, working, meeting mates when I noticed something off about my appearance. I think I clocked myself in a window or something.

Anyway, off I go to check I'm still looking 'ream' (I believe that to be the appropriate term in common parlance) and find a mirror. Upon finding a mirror, I lift my cap only to find that the top half of my skull has been removed. I can also see facial muscles n shit. I tip my head to have a gander at my brain-box but find there is nothing there....

What does this mean?!

Do you think I'm a mentalist? :umm:

Mirror
To dream of your own reflection in the mirror suggests that you are pondering thoughts about your inner self. The reflection in the mirror is how you perceive yourself or how you want others to see you. You may be contemplating on strengthening and changing aspects of your character.

Brain
To dream of your brain suggests that you are under severe intellectual stress. You need to put your problem-solving abilities to use. Alternatively, it implies that your ideas are not receiving enough attention and validation. You are concerned that your knowledge and teachings are not be transmitted clearly.

To dream that you are undergoing brain surgery indicates that you need to rethink some important issue. You need to change your way of thinking and put aside any misconceived notions you have.

Cap
To see a cap in your dream signifies informality and ease. It also suggests that you need to be more tolerant of others.

would be a jungian interpretation

and no not a mentalist
Sometimes, if you stand on the bottom rail of a bridge and lean over to watch the river slipping slowly away beneath you, you will suddenly know everything there is to be known.

I used to have a recurring nightmare that I was born and living in an unbelievable shithole that was populated by knuckle-dragging, bigoted idiots whose only interests were getting shitfaced and / or wasted and then fighting each other and fourteen years-olds pushing prams.

No, wait a minute, that actually happened.

:( Poor WUB.

Here, have a friendly man-hug.

When I find myself getting down about the things I'm observing, I give myself a break and 'observe' something else instead (not easy when you are seemingly surrounded by whatever it is that is bothering you).

Sounds simple but it works.

sketti, how the feck do you still remember your dreams after so many years on the THC?

I'm surprised when I wake up thinking "what the fuck was I just thinking?" as it indicates a level of awareness of the fact I was sleeping.

I do my best 'dreaming' when I day snooze and reach the cross off point between waking/sleeping life. It taps into my current bollocks as well as my subconscious bollocks, and I trust my bollocks in any tense.

No idea. :psketti:

In the land before I started smoking, I had some real belters of dreams.... stuff they make horror films out of, maybe the intensity of those left me with the ability to recall some of todays dreams through the haze, fuck knows. :P

I do my best dreaming then too so what you moaning about if you DO remember dreams? :D

When I have good ones they last for what seems to be forever and are epic... thats the only word I can think of to use.

That one the other day knocked me abit cuz it was one of those freaky ones that you continue for more than one day... plus, it wasn't nice. Wierd place, fucked up people and lots of them and everything was in shades of black, white and grey except for the odd dash of red for lipstick, a rose, stuff like that. The faces where a different matter altogether but I only caught glimpses of those. And I'd lost things but didn't know what I'd lost. Oh and the buildings were all larger scaled than they should have been.... everything was vast. Was talking to someone too who I don't know yet thought I did. :nilly:

Best thing about it was the clothes the people wore. Goth/Victorian/Steampunk all rolled into one.... but wherever I was, it was a dark place to be.

I have regular nightmares.

I don't like them when they happen but after I learn something or I am inspired somehow.

The worst are those that leave me emotionally affected.

I do not see sleep as a rest during the night. I don't even like it. It is a chire and sometimes a trial.#

Naps through the day, however are often lovely and peaceful and bring me such happiness when I wake up.

Odd.

I love being awake thru the night.
