I just had a look on you tube and there are plenty of battle reenactments uploaded for people to watch and quite a few people turn up to watch the reenactments.

Whats your opinion?

I remember going to watch one as a youngster and it was great fun with the loud bangs shouting and smell of black powder.

Why do people go to so much trouble recreating such a thing?

Would it be strange if people reenacted other big events in history which didn't involve fighting.
