I have a surprise interview tomorrow, and I'm undecided.

It's boring office-work but will likely be slightly better paid than what I'm doing now. I know from experience that 'corporate-land' still frown upon individualism and anything other than pierced ears presently.

I don't want to take them out as they were only recently done/re-done and I'd feel like a bit of a fraud anyway as I would be looking to put them back in if I got the job eventually.

Also, although my current job is shitty, they don't seem to care about stuff like that and I'm getting along there well enough, so it's not like I'm desperate to get out. Although...a bit more cash would be useful.

What to do?

Because you don't know the attitude of the interviewer, or the company, it'd be wisest to remove them to be on the safe side really. If they offer you the job, you can decide then whether you'd be happier taking them up on the offer or staying put.

I agree with Gilly.

Unless it's your Prince Albert you're worried about. Should be ok to leave that in.

Another agreement here.
If you want the gig or increased £££'s leave them out for the interview.
Put them back in if when you get the job.
