I'm also not up for a rumble with the sea.
It's simply too big & powerful, & contains too many nails creatures that are scary looking.

When we got to Perranporth recently, we'd been on holiday & the beach for about 15 mins with the dogs when we heard the lifeguard shouting over his megaphone from a car. Couldn't hear what he was saying so we just carried on... about 2 mins later I realised he must have been saying 'turn back or hurry up' as the tide came in very quickly and cut us off at both sides! Was pretty scary but managed to escape by clambering over loads of rocks to get away from its fiendish swirling advance. We were probably about a minute or 2 away from being in deep shit!
That's why town folk shouldn't meddle!
