Over the last few years online gambling has become big business and roullette machines (fob?) in bookmakers have become massive earners.

They sell a dream of quick cash but are filth in my view and should be outlawed by cock sucker cameron.

what are your views.

It's ok if you're responsible...... but pretty dire if you're not.
One of my mates is addicted to those roulette machines they're pretty evil. It leads to a roller coaster life of sometimes him having no money to winning a few grand on it then treating us to massive days out on the lash & whatever else.... I can't watch it while he plays it - upsets me to see so many £20s getting thrown into a machine while I struggle to pay the bills. But still, it's ended up providing a lot of entertainment, and conversely ruined many days out.

I was totally hooked on 'fruity's' for at least a few years, and it's a nasty business, as they are simply designed to win.

The people I have known that were 'up' are very few and far between.

A few punts here and there on sporting events can be enjoyable and even profitable if you know what you're doing.

It has been mathematically proven that whatever strategy you employ with casino games, you will lose. There is no way of beating them, you will definitely lose if you play long enough. I would never play any of those games out of principle, as they are just designed to take your money.

If you're playing those fixed machines in bookmakers you need to go to Gamblers Anonymous.

I would really recommend watching the Louis Theroux programme on Vegas, and you will see what an illness gambling can be:

I have some friends who are sports bookies who make money but it's up's and downs.

Some people bet sports just to make watching the games on TV more entertaining.

I have been to Las Vegas a few times and also Atlantic City but it was just to have fun and go to the pools in the day and clubs at night.

I don't gamble, it's just another addiction...
