I'm not the one calling for this poster to be banned. Knobmeup did. If you want to convince others that this poster should be banned, it's knobmeup's responsibility to do so. Otherwise, it's just an irrational and vindictive mob rules mentality.

Well as a group decision that votes, they only need to convince a majority. You can call that mob rule, if you like. OTOH if you prefer a more "top-down" moderation system, I could direct you to an alternate forum which leaves all the decisions to the admin.

I vote 'no,' as knobmeup has not provided a shred of evidence that the poster in question has violated forum guidelines. No one else posting in this thread has either, for that matter.
