I define people as woken up only if they can understand and accept their own failings. They must first of all know themselves before they can ever know others. That IMHO is 'woken up'. You must be able to understand what the human condition is, what makes us tick.
Money is one of our key driving factors but it is merely a facet of something far greater. Money is itself a resulting symptom of a greater drive.
It is quite humbling and I only see stuff touching on this matter in some very 'intellectual' stuff which joe average does not have time for.
I consider this itself to be one of the greatest forms of abuse, its akin to stealing identity. Cognitive impairment.

Yes - but they're not! I wasn't, until a couple of years ago. I knew things were corrupt, but nothing about the scale and organisation of it and the totality of the manipulation.

I've discussed the matter with many people.
A lot of them will openly acknowledge that the world is full of corruption and cronyism but they quite simply either don't give a shit or they point out there is little to be done unless you are willing to pick up a gun and shoot the instigators.

They all know instinctively its not 'right' so to speak but its only more of a grumble recently to westerners as austerity is starting to affect them for example.
Its only when it gets personal that they'll give much of a damn about it.

I'd rather see people discuss solutions, whatever they may be instead of having a circle wank about savile,911 etc etc.
Its the circle wank that I see as not being 'woken up'. Its just a reactionary knee jerk to media which is PRECISELY what the elite intended all along. Their hope is that the circle wank will lead to the matter progressing no further and then being ignored to be replaced with the next upcoming media circle wank.
