An online survey by a group of Canadian researchers suggests that Internet trolls are more likely than others to show signs of sadism, psychopathy and "Machiavellianism": a disregard for morality and tendency to manipulate or exploit others.

"It was sadism, however, that had the most robust associations with trolling of any of the personality measures," says an article by psychologists from the University of Manitoba, University of Winnipeg and University of British Columbia. "In fact, the associations between sadism and ... scores were so strong that it might be said that online trolls are prototypical everyday sadists."

Depends what they mean by troll :cool: I occasionally 'troll' the local newspaper forum.

Well it`s all relatively simple.The young turks are full of shills and twats and don't like to be trolled.And on the other hand some people think there full of shit and troll the shills. :down:

Perhaps i don't know what trolling properly is.And perhaps i don't care.There are some other issues to attend too, then some people like me who don`t take this silly issue as reality and a global threat to world peace.Unlike these young strapping turks,who dont even seem very Turkish.
Furthermore this whole psychopath label is being thrown around very easily nowadays,even to rather stupid extremes.
