There's a big difference between gender roles and dress codes. It's alright to teach your boy to do some house chores and clean after himself, cook, hell even send him to dance class. Men make better chefs than women, and some are terrific dancers too. But to have a boy, who doesn't display any signs of gender identity crisis go through that shit because his parents are idiots, it's just wrong imho.

You may find this difficult to believe...but as a child, I liked to dress up - A LOT.

I also liked to play with dolls houses.

At the same time, I liked playing in mud and building things from Lego (usually houses).

My father in particular frowned upon the aforementioned and discouraged it. He had little to say about the latter.

I don't think it's an issue whether he grows up to be gay, tbh, Abs. It's more the fact that he doesn't know at his age that he's going to attract hatred & bullying in all probability from his peers pretty soon, as a result of his parents actions, and won't have a clue what it's all about. Kids can be cruel, and very quick to pick out anyone who's a bit different in any way.
