I think you can only withdraw to accounts libked to your pay pal but i may be wrong.

Sorry, I don't know about that myself. It might be best to ask the bank about it (Paypal might have a vested interest in 'steering' a particular route).

I think there is an option on paypal to classify the transaction as 'gift' which avoids the additional costs they fleece off the people but I don't think you can send from paypal direct to someone elses bank account (only back to the bank account that the original account is linked to)

Only way to get the money out in your instance (where you dont yourself have a linked bank account to the paypal account)

is to send it to someone elses paypal who does have a linked account and is willing to withdraw the cash for you.

You cant send it to a bank account as dubs said.

Paypal does have a debit card option (youre issued a debit card linked to the paypal account and can then obv withdraw any funds in that account) ... but i think its USA residents only that are eligible at this point in time.

Novum I think the question has arisen because in the process of trying to transfer the collection Oi's been provided with Jamies bank account details and not paypals details.

You can't transfer from paypal to a secondary bank account.

Oi if you haven't been able to do the transfer I'm more than happy for you to send it my paypal and I'll do a bank transfer to Jamie from my end.

I will provide receipts or online evidence of the transaction

Ok, I'm trying to complete the transaction, when it calculates the fees it shows as zero if payment is via Paypal as opposed to credit card. On the next screen it then adds a fee of £11 but shows I am trying to pay with my credit card (the one Paypal won't recognise as I signed up with my nickname) and doesn't give me any other options when I click the 'Change payment method'.

Have you tried lessening the amount you want to send, just for the heck of it, to get to that problematic page with a lesser amount and perhaps see if its gonna go thru. (you dont have to keep going and send the lesser amount perhaps)

That and a combination of not converting it seems to have worked.

€300 sent without any charge in 3X€100, the outstanding €24 it tried to charge again so I'll send it tomorrow, perhaps there's a limit on how much can be sent for 'free'.

Possibly a limit due to their anti money laundering measures/rules whatever.
