Evil does exist and imo we need to stop it very early on, very very early on because some people can be truly lost to it.

I think we can safely go "into the negative" without too much danger but there is always a chance some people will go too far and then they'll go that little bit further and before you know it they're gone too far

I get you completely, but I do wonder if you could ever actually stop someone going 'too far' in the first place, if it is something someone, somewhere might argue that they have come 'here' to do.

It isn't an easy way of looking at things, but I am drawing on my own experience, which is really all I have.

I get what you're saying. I've read the books or NDE reports that seem to say we all come down here to play particular roles and to experience things we choose to experience and many life experiences are meant to be and tahts the reason we chose the bodies we chose to incarnate into.
However, I don't believe that's entirely the case. I think for certain souls that are "higher up" and who have reached a particular level of awareness they can have and can afford that 'luxury' but for the majority of souls they never get beyond the astral planes after death, incarnating once again is nothing more than for pleasures of the physical. I also think many of them don't even incarnate again and choose to exist on a nearby "dimension" where they can wreak havoc on the 'living'.

I think the universe and all creation is far more extensive than simply dying, going into the light, discovering you're a lightbeing and then choosing to reincarnate for a particular lesson. I think that is reserved for only some souls who have graduated to a certain level. All those who haven't it's more a free for all and they're not doing anything to learn anything in particular. For some incarnating is for sinister reasons.

This 'incarnated demon' is in disagreement with the premise of the OP. Andy expressed it well. The whole concept (that you seem to have got from books) is born of certain humans' desire for control over others imho.
Truths can easily be twisted and often are. Ideas are very often presented as facts. This is something you appear to be doing here.

I think Demon is perhaps a strong word but it's what I'm using to explain souls who have migrated to the 'darkside of the force'. The dark side of Sources mind.
