A thought crossed my mind today after reading some persons weird blog.

There seems to be a continuous theme in myth and religion and that is that we are "fallen". Whether we are Humans fallen from Eden or fallen angels that rebelled against God, the "fallen" theme is everywhere.
What if we fell into the Abyss? what if we are demons? and we take human hosts on Earth in order to wipe our memories so we can attempt to generate new personalities to learn things and therefore progress back up the ladder to God.
There does seem to be a lot of evil in the world and within people, it seems to be "human nature" to be selfish and egotistic etc etc. What if it's not necessarily human nature but Demon nature?
We are Demons trying to change ourselves to return back to God/Source.
The world is always going to be a shit hole because every person here is possesed by a demon, you ARE a demon. Some Demons incarnate here to return to source, some incarnate here to stop the others from returning to source out of shear hatred and spite but maybe a handful of people on Earth are angels (higher up beings) who incarnate to help the fallen angels return to God.

Some Demons don't want to return back up, some do. We are however by our very spirit nature demonic and our incarnations here are an attempt to change our nature back to that of Gods.

Ooops...I have to disagree with you on your OP Kalki.
Haven't you met people who we could call 'angels on earth'?...not a cruel or malicious bone in their body....just grace and kindness?
I know I have and do frequently. A few phrases come to mind 'like attract like', 'mirror reflection'.

I don't want to start a religious argument with you, but I like to think of the ideas you have posted as karma, reincarnation even.

I did mention that some angels incarnate to Earth.
Also since we ALL incarnate to Earth in order to change ourselves and return to God/Source then by the time we've had several incarnations we have become more positive beings so our original demonic nature is changed or changing.
In this lifetime I consider myself a positive soul but I don't believe I necessarily was such in previous incarnations. Were I to go back to my earliest ever incarnations I quite likely could have been "demonic" in nature at the time of my "fall" which incidentally could have been hundreds or maybe thousands of lifetimes ago.

Sounds a bit like catholic dogma tbh, ie we are born with sin.

If anything, its society that creates sinful children, after all, we're still using a fucked up monetary system so I'm not surprised we have crime and corruption. The kids learn it off us basically, so the various churches have created a dogma which makes excuses for a twisted society that benefits the rich. This has always been the churches role IMHO to prop up the elite and maintain the status quo, it was never about spirituality.

If Source created beings and those beings created beings and those did and so on and so forth then as the pyramid of creation "falls" downwards we fall lower and lower in densities until you reach the very bottom. Beings created in these 'bottom' areas are of a lower vibration and are thus "demonic" in their nature, it's their natural state of being. You could possibly consider the 'Astral' as the lowest levels of creation in which we were formed.
via Earth we have the opportunity to evolve ourselves upwards and become more than we what we began as.

I do not agree with you. What really do incarnate to earth is souless humans. In fact over 50% on earth today might be souless humans. They are people just programmed to have one life here, they are a robot without a soul, and when they die they die for real. Ever wondered why some people just can't buy into paranormal things or life after death? Many people that are teachers, doctors, social worker, lawyers and so on are in fact souless humans.

It's an interesting thought, but I agree with Andy, and I reckon it crops up through most major religions too.

After some reflection, I believe this to be a mechanism useful for both controlling followers of a certain faith and also for absolving oneself of any personal responsibility, to a degree.

I don't doubt some of these teachings re good and evil/light & dark started out well meaning, inasmuch as from our very limited perspective here on earth, there most definitely is an up and down/light and dark. However, 'universally speaking', if you will, no such opposites actually exist. As mentioned in a previous post elsewhere, in space, there very definitely is no up or down, for example.

I think the idea may have been hijacked over the centuries to manipulate and scare people into behaving a certain way. This certain way also changes over the centuries and eventually, 'we' find ourselves unable to stand on our heads in enough different ways to please everybody.

I agree 'we' are a physical representation of something, as is everything we can interpret with our physical senses. I don't believe this - whatever it is - to be inherently good or evil, however, as both are merely terms conjoured up by our brains to try and define something, and both are purely subjective. I believe that 'source' or God that so many people seek to find outside of themselves in very simple terms is 'all that is', here to experience itself through the myriad of different physical (and non-physical) incarnations 'it' is able to manifest as on this plane.

I also have no truck with reincarnation in the sense that past/future incarnations follow a linear timeline. I do believe the larger part of us may experience many different lifetimes, but it all happens simultaneously. It's a bit of a toughy to grasp at first, given the apparent limitations of existence and the way in which our physical senses perceive the world around us - and even the passage of time to an extent - but once you start really thinking about it, it can be quite illuminating.

Nice postage, btw.

I read something interesting about "original sin" recently actually. Meant to post about it but forgot because I'm a dumb bitch.

The gist of it was that this term in fact refers to humans as a species developing the capacity to feel guilt about certain actions. It posited that the purpose of developing the capacity to feel remorse for our actions was quite simply to prevent us from repeating those actions again. The piece in question was coming at it from the point of view that our soul, or the larger part of 'us' (source, whatever) is continuously expanding and exploring itself. 'It' developed this capacity in order it could review its actions and make a decision as to whether to repeat those actions or not.

After this point, once the experience has been assimilated, 'original sin' as it was apparently supposed to be viewed, serves no further purpose.

What organised religion and our own messed up brains have done however, is twist that concept to fit many different behavioural patterns and periods of history. In this way, it was viewed as a simple mechanism which we were to learn from and then move on. As it currently stands for most people, 'guilt' is something we use to manipulate and convince ourselves that our actions are right/wrong/other people are right/wrong etc. It is a useful trick to employ on occasion, but the true meaning and purpose of guilt has long since been lost to us.

Until we care to remember, that is.

Interesting stuff.

Evil exists because Source can imagine it and thus it comes into being.
Source itself does not have to have a negative aspect to itself to create it into the universe, merely imagine it with it's awareness.
Source may be absolute infinite pure love and that may be all that really exists, but it's able to imagine things, things would otherwise not exist if it were not from Sources imaginings. Therefore whilstever the universe exists and whilstever free will exists positive and negative, good and evil exist and therefore within the universe it's quite possible that beings can be created with that negative/evil/demonic nature.
God could be a traingle but if he can imagine a square he can create a square and that square will be a square, it will be what it has been created to be.

Source is everything because everything there is is what it can imagine, therefore we ourselves being conscious awareness (a fractal of Gods own awareness) having free will may become whatever we want to become. Take away free will then we will probably default to 'source code' which is love, but free will allows us become whatever we want.

Here on Earth we have free will and when we die and reach the other side we have free will. We wont get to the otherside and automatically become loving light beings. We will be what we have been created to be or we will become what we've chosen ourselves to be whether thats consciously or subconsciously.

As far as I'm aware and what i've read from others, Source has no intention of blinking us out of existence. We have been given individual awareness, individual free will, and with that we can do and go wherever we want. We are of God but seperate. It's that seperation that allows us to become evil, to become that part of sources imagination that can imagine evil. So it really is very very real, the only way evil shall cease to be is if Source stop imagining it and decides to end creation. But creation is ever ongoing and thus it will always exist.

That's why every single one of us is important and unique and special.

We are a droplet of source, in other words we are made of the same fundamental energy field, but we are also singular and individual and we shall be so 'forever' unless creation ends. So our "life" journeys in any dimension can take us anywhere and in any direction.

You see, Source does not imagine love, it's has love, it IS love. Therefore you return closer to source when your own thoughts and feelings match the creators.
Evil is imagined, the more you move towards evil the more you move away from source in the sense that your fundamental thoughts no longer match the creators.

So we all have the choice of becoming something that actually is (love) or becoming something imagined (evil). Both are real within the creation, but since our own individuality itself is a creation of the creator then whilstever we retain our unique beingness (individual creation) then we can become whatever we want (within the creation) whether intentionally or not.

I think we're on the same page. My point was, to call something or someone 'evil' is a bit daft, as all experience and situations are valuable, in the sense that they are being experienced from the pov of something other than all that is (seemingly, although in truth there is no such thing).

Similarly, the only real way to know what 'love' or 'good' is, is to be afforded the opportunity to experience the apparent opposite of that - hence the original sin bit I was waffling on about earlier. To deny yourself feelings that might be considered anything other than 'love' or 'good' is to disconnect yourself from source to some degree, if you like. Again, see my earlier point about certain religious teachings and to an extent many 'new age' positive thinking gurus.

Ultimately though, I believe they all lead back to that energy that 'we' generally might regard as 'love'. When you feel these emotions, rather than cast them out or try and ignore them, allow them to flow and they will inevitably return you to your original state of grace/love. If you believe this is the source from which all experience springs (as I do) it can be no other way.

The thing is though, there is a level of evil that exists that is so devoid of love that to allow it free reign is a bad idea.
When thinking about the universe I find it's best to think about it as a seperate thing to God even though it isn't. Reason being, although it is source itself and everything within the universe stems from source it's an eternal creation and to every being within it it's "real".
Souls can be hurt, damaged, tortured and any manner of bad things can happen. Souls can become depressed and fall into the darker regions of their mind and of creation. There is no saviour going to turn up and help them, they can only help themselves and without a light to guide them back out of it they may very well stay in that low state forever and a day.
We may be eternal infinite beings and creations/fractals of source but we exist within the creation and are thus bound by it's duality and rules.

As a human being, if I jump in the air, regardless of me being an infinite being of energy I will fall back to Earth because of gravity and the laws of physics. Whilstever we are individual beings we are created, we exist within the creation and are bound by all of laws and rules and that includes the 'law' of duality. We have to keep all this in mind when we consider allowing darkness/evil to "run its course".

If 90% of all created beings ended up 'turning to the darkside' the source isn't going to some how step in and stop that or change it because we have free will entirely. So within creation there is a good side and a bad side and there is a 'war' so to speak between them and either side can win. That's the danger.

Earth is a fine example. It's like a universe unto it's own. It has good guys, it has bad guys, but nobody is going to step in with super powers and fight for good, it's a constant battle on Earth between the selfish and the selfless, the good the bad. If left unchecked the "evil" on Earth would consume it, we will then be living in a most definite hell on Earth and source wont do anything about it, it's all free will.
We need to be very very careful.

Granted. I wasn't suggesting we 'allow' evil to take its course however.

I mean, if you feel angry, feel angry. Allowing your emotions to flow as intended will always, always, always turn you back to source/love eventually. I believe it to be part of the design, if you will.

It is in the stifling of these emotions that trouble occurs. Some say this is in fact the very cause of wars on our planet for example.

As for offering a light to a distressed soul...I view it slightly differently to you. It is a kind and wonderful thing to offer that kind of assistance if you know how. However, if a 'soul' is truly wanting to experience a particular situation, I don't think any amount of assistance is going to prevent it from doing so. Until such a time as 'it' no longer wishes to experience that particular situation.

I agree with your point about experiencing exactly what we are expecting upon death too, but I believe an important part of the process is coming to the realisation that we have created that very experience ourselves and moving on from that. It's great if you can achieve that while alive, but not everybody does.

Either way, imo, it's all good. ;)

Agreed, but I still maintain "hell on earth" would be entirely subjective from the pov of the individual. How would you know it was hell on earth if you'd never experienced anything different? How do we know this isn't hell on earth already?

I think we just have some different opinions on what constitutes "evil" maybe?

Edit: Which is great, as most people do, always have done and always will do!

I believe there are people on Earth who have experienced nothing but hurt, pain and lies and they know how horrible that feels without needing to feel the opposite. It's a depressive terrible feeling.
Some people can take pleasure from giving out pain and suffering but were they to be the ones receiving it they wouldn't enjoy it quite so much. So yes evil is indeed subjective to the person because it depends on who is dishing it out and who is receiving it, but you cannot have a world where people can only dish it out and not be on the receiving end, there will always be the oppressor and the oppressed.

Also, as we are source awareness, even in a world where all we've known is evil, I would say that our imagination would give us the ability to imagine a better world and as such the oppressed people would imagine it and this would make them even more aware of how terrible their situation is and how evil it is.
