Last year, I started a fantasy football league on the DIF, you can read the thread here:

As at the end of that league, huge_rune very kindly sent me a trophy (as, naturally, I won), it seemed incumbent upon me to start a new league, which I have done. The link if you wish to join is here:

You need to enter the following details when joining the league:

Super League Name: WUB Fantasy League 2012-13
Super League PIN: 8004671

When you register, your first team is free. The Telegraph make it look like you have to pay on the registration screen, but I assure you it is free, you just need to select the final option, which I have helpfully put a yellow ring around here:

I'm bumping this up, as while the overwhelming likelihood is that it's been ignored due to a total lack of interest, people might have missed it. I posted it on the DIF as well, and up to now, no-one has joined. While this will mean that I'll win the league, it would be something of a hollow victory.

Do I pick the team and then enter the pin in where it says password in stage 2?
Or do I go into the 'private leagues' bit?

AFAIK, you have to register your entire team and go through the whole process for this, and then once you've done that you can join a private league. It says in the instructions:
Once you’ve chosen your team, you’ll have the option to join an existing Super League.

If you’ve registered via a link sent to you by someone playing in a league, you’ll be given the option to confirm that it’s the league you want to join. Otherwise, you’ll need to submit the details of the league you want to join:

(1) the name of the league and

(2) the 7-digit PIN for that league

You can then start inviting your friends to join too.

If you’ve already registered and later decide to join a league, just log in as usual and click on the Super League button above your team display. You’ll just need to submit the name and PIN for the league you want to join.

Entries to Super Leagues must be completed before Friday, September 28, 2012.

Done... got a bit confused as it didn't recognise the league name... then I realised it was the 'super league' tab and it worked.

Hmmm...maybe you should try typing it in manually? Actually, on the league page that I can view it's got 2012-13 without a space in, so perhaps try that. I copy and pasted that information from the site itself, so why it's wrong, I have no idea. It is a bit fiddly, let me know how you get on.

Make sure you click the 'super league' tab above. I had the same problem...

Typed in "wub fantasy league 2012-13" (lower case and no spaces in years)
and it worked.

You now have a new league member Malazan Emperors!

Quite a few times. I'm sorry, I'm basically a very irritating person! I'm good at maths and statistics and I do know football pretty well, so I'm quite good at this game.

Which FM do you currently play? I think I have to seriously fuck you up with my 4-1-3-2. It's what Eric would want.
