Snooker is kind of... zen? I mean it's all relaxing and absorbing... Like the balls are a metaphor for the planets, and time and space...

I would start an Ashes thread in a couple of months, but I feel it might not go down all that well...

I hope Hawkins isn't overawed and gives a decent account of himself, I'd like to see the match last four sessions.

It's been an excellent match, I can't recall a better final in terms of both players playing well.

Did you notice that when it was 7-7, Hendry said words to the effect of "Ronnie looks a bit down at the moment, but he'll probably make a century in the next frame", and he then made back-to-back centuries?

I'm looking forward to this afternoon's session, have been counting the hours down since I woke up.
