I didn't see any supposed gesture, but I think swearing and gesturing is a natural reaction while you're playing sport. Even Federer had a go at an umpire once at the US Open:



It's a natural reaction when you want to win and things are going against you.

I've written Judd off BTW! I think Ronnie is already about 1/5 to win the entire championship.
