Hmmmmm....now this reminded me of something similar the Brits were building in the Isle of Man in the 70's. I remember my dad saying, "if they're letting that cat out of the bag, you can pretty much assume it's redundant".

I also recall maybe 2 years ago the Russians building a space rocket in the Isle of Man...

Russia is also involved with an Isle of Man-based company, Excalibur Almaz, to convert old Soviet space station hardware for space tourism. The venture hopes to fly people into space within a few years.
