Michael Flatley 'chased thieves who stole his rhino horn'
The dancer made an attempt to catch the gang but they had disappeared
Dance king Michael Flatley gave chase in a sports car :uzi: to a gang who broke into his home    and stole an African rhino horn. :dolf:
The super-hoofer first checked on his wife Niamh and son, Michael Jnr, after the terrifying :ninja: raid on his north Cork home but then made off after the thieves. :cavalier
But by the time he reached the Castlehyde gate on the Fermow to Mallow road the thieves had disappeared. :fresse:

The Chicago-born star told the Irish Independent: "I don't really want to say much because the gardai are examining the house. I don't want to interfere with their investigation in any way. :barfonu:
"But I will say that the gardai have been absolutely fantastic. They were here within minutes of the alarm being raised. In fact, I couldn't believe how fast they arrived." :alc:
Gardai believe the robbery, which took place on Monday evening, was the work of a Limerick-based gang :band: who were also responsible for stealing rhino horns from the National Museum last year. :ripped:
Mr Flatley disturbed the thugs :fraid: when they broke into the house but they still managed to make good their escape. :moon:
Gardai are checking to see if any of Mr Flatley's other valuables are also missing. :sheeps: :lick:

I hadn't realised they were so valuable - £164K according to some reports. :O

I disapprove of him having such an object in the first place. Still, if he'd caught the intruders, they could have had a spectacular dance-off.

You're liking the smileys, aren't you, Troyhand. :D

Just playing the devils advocate here...but many environmentalists have 'trophies'.....Flately has given away millions of his fortune to many charities and set up all sorts for children in particular. However I haven't found anything about him hunting...except a safari he went on in South Africa...and that wasn't a hunting one.....we shall wait and see if he responds to the many many calls all over his facebook and tweets as to why he had the rhino's head in his 'Africa Trophy Room'......

His rhino horn?
:conf:

If I chopped his dancing feet off, would they then be my feet?

As an expert in this field :O :killinme: there was a booming :hide: market in thefts of Rhino horn etc from stately homes all across Europe , so much so that interpol issued a warning to them all not to display ivory or rhino horns.
Regional Governors and Government agencies in Africa are involved in corruption with regards to poaching activities, everybody wanting a cut
:hide: of the profit. This is why the APU ( Anti Poaching Units) are often poorly trained, equiped and funded.
Al shabaab are 1 of the main players in poaching throughout Africa using the funds for weapons etc. They send in company sized units, armed with RPGs, heavy machine guns and assault rifles to kill the elephants and rhinos, and any fucker who gets in the way.

:ar: :ar:
Must be a CIA plot though :hmm:
