One of the good guys imo.
You may not have agreed with his view but at least it would have been HIS view.
Unlike the P.R. manufactured and manipulated marionettes on all sides today.

Aye, I've heard him speak a few times, as you say not necessarily ideologically sound but you got the sense he meant what he was saying and believed it which always makes for more compelling viewing.

Another cunt that lied to the people all his career whilst collecting his £100,000 a year salary.

You get to see his true side a few weeks ago when he was interviewed on TPV and asked about removing the fractional reserve banking system, he was shocked and outraged at the idea of removing the slave collar
fuck him

He did a lot of stuff that was decent in his time.
That said, I wouldn't be surprised in the least bit, have you got a link to the vid?

You may be right, I have little sympathy for politicians, they're puppets who are either corrupt or too stupid to know they're puppets.
I had a quick look on TPV's youtube channel but if they have uploaded that show it didn't come back from a search for Tony Benn.
it was Richie Allen's show but I can't remember the date

Obviously I can't agree with your assessment of him martg mate.
Keep in mind this is him after a stroke, yet he still makes more sense and displays more integrity that anyone I can think of atm.

Plenty of people make a lot of sense without drawing a hundred thousand a year salary from a system designed to fuck people over.
60 years a puppet, what did he achieve other than a nice little earner?

Did you know Tony Benn is a distant relative of Charles Darwin and Josiah Wedgwood who was a potter but also an abolitionist.

Tony's one of few politicians i will listen to when being interviewed although his faith in the labour party is slightly worrying for me.

He is a product of the political hierarchy so taking that on board he's not such a bad guy compared to the rest of them.

He did renounce his hereditary peerage, which very few people would do, and I heard him on the BBC talking about how he was strongly against a federal Europe. Other important stuff he doesn't seem to get at all, and I find it bemusing that he still believes in the 'democratic process' having been in the middle of it for most of his life. I would have thought by now it would be clear that it's a pointless sham, but apparently not. However, it's rough that he's ill, but it comes to us all eventually. It must have been tough for him to live the last thirteen years of his life without his wife.

Sometimes, these are the most difficult people to actually get to consider an alternative pov. I met one such chap in a pub recently, and he became quite despondent that I wasn't as excitable about politics as he was. It was his career choice, from what I can gather. I can understand it though...it's like if I met someone who wasn't as bonkers about something like spirituality. If they then started slating it and going through all the reasons why I was wrong to be so enthralled about it or that I'd wasted the last however many years of my life with it, I'd probably be a bit pissed off too.

In this instance, I was branded a "realist" before he turned on his heels and fled. Meh, I've been called worse. :coffee:

Great i'll be getting ready to have a party like all you infantile leftists did when dear Margaret passed away.

She did more for this country than Tony Benn, he did a few things for a select elite in the TUM a branch of the illuminati.

Yes I knew he was illuminati bloodline and a reptillian agent in the British house of parliament.

I can understand that mentality to a degree, but you would think after 60 years centrally involved in the political process that you might just think "hold on a second, this doesn't work. The poor are still getting poorer and the rich are still getting richer. We've passed fuck knows how many bills and we're worse off than when we started".

Granted.

I think those so inclined might fall into the trap of viewing things from different colours though, as in, "it's like this because they did that and that and we would have done it like this".

Also, I believe he is wise enough to see the game for what it is and perhaps just figures more can be done from within than without?

Who can say - except him?

Thatcher was about as close to the definition of treacherous as you can get.

She deregulated the banking system and instigated the whole sale rape and pillage of the country's assets.

We are where we are because of that creature, anybody who doesn't understand that is an imbecile or a payed agent.

Admittedly i am talking from a perspective of a realist with long term views and not just from a get rich quick and fuck anybody else point of view.
