As if by magic..
The shopkeeper appeared
Mr Benn Shopkeeper

Time to go home.
my limbless friend will die alone
a torso of flesh upon the throne

Violence is not the answer, it is the question. the answer is yes.

You may not have agreed with his view but at least it would have been HIS view.

I love how people always refer to the ones they like as being "one of the good guys". Tony Benn is a highly popular politician..just like Obama, just like Blair was..had Benn had any real power he would have been revealed to be just the same. Of that I can assure you! The NWO is a totalitarian SOCIALIST world order..Benn is a powerful socialist!

He did renounce his hereditary peerage, which very few people would do, and I heard him on the BBC talking about how he was strongly against a federal Europe. Other important stuff he doesn't seem to get at all, and I find it bemusing that he still believes in the 'democratic process' having been in the middle of it for most of his life. I would have thought by now it would be clear that it's a pointless sham, but apparently not. However, it's rough that he's ill, but it comes to us all eventually. It must have been tough for him to live the last thirteen years of his life without his wife.

Which means nothing more than breaking down the good British traditions..the Lords was only made how it is because the hereditary peers stood up to the government.. Its hard to dominate those empowered by birth not by political edict

I wouldn't necessarily disagree with you, but you can't have a position of political power for hereditary reasons. By renouncing this, Benn was stating that if he was going to occupy such a position then it was going to be via voting, which is obviously better than being born into it. Of course, I don't support representative democracy at all, but no-one should view a position in the House of Lords as a birthright.
The true measure of a man is not his intelligence or how high he rises in this freak establishment. The true measure of a man is this: how quickly he can respond to the needs of others and how much of himself he can give - Philip K. Dick.

Did you know Tony Benn is a distant relative of Charles Darwin and Josiah Wedgwood who was a potter but also an abolitionist.

Tony's one of few politicians i will listen to when being interviewed although his faith in the labour party is slightly worrying for me.

He is a product of the political hierarchy so taking that on board he's not such a bad guy compared to the rest of them.

I'm also a distant relative of Charles Darwin and Josiah Wedgwood. I've never heard of Tony Benn being a distant relative of mine too though. I wonder what his connection is.

I liked Tony Benn

Yes all politicians are part of the system but some less so than others.

He has made alot more sense and actually tried to help and make a difference

A previous poster mentioned he was interviewed on the peoples voice......is this true?

“The best way to control the opposition is to lead it ourselves.”

― Vladimir Ilyich Lenin
probably a little more cleverly than Icke, but for all his talk, interviews, rhetoric he achieved nothing

I am not sure but I think he even attended a bilderberg meeting
a world run in anarchy, but the good guys are the only ones who dont know it

The fact he never has suggests he may be one of the good guys ;)
